Jacket Chaps^® are the creation of Julie Hunt, founder of Chap Up, LLC.  Julie has been motorcycle riding for several years and designed this unique style of jacket as something to wear on warm-weather riding days.  She wanted a jacket that she could quickly slip on over a tank top or halter top to protect her arms and shoulders from sunburn while flattering her figure.  Her first jacket got so much attention at bike rallies that she decided to form a company and produce an entire line of jackets (she actually sold jackets right off her back to women begging to have the same look).  Her company name "Chap Up" was developed to signify chapping up to ride and chapping up your upper body.  She quickly contacted a patent attorney to apply for a utility patent on a new invention of riding jackets. Jacket Chaps^® are not only great protection against sunburn but provide a layer of warmth when worn under your full jacket on cold days. Full-figured, plus-size women are thrilled when they try this jacket on because the cut emphasizes the upper body and takes attention away from the middle section.  It truly flatters all figure sizes. They are fashionable, functional and fun to wear.  

Chap Up, LLC originated in Wyoming and is headquarted in Star, Idaho just outside of Boise.  Look for Julie on her 2008 Copper and Black HD Road King Classic with the license plate "Chap Up". She'll be wearing her Jacket Chaps^® as will the 22" Barbie-like doll sitting on the back.
